Applying for: Head of the Digital Art Department
I have a passion in various forms of art, but didn’t get into digital art until a few years ago, when I found out about one of my now favorite artists. I’ve been the Head of the Digital Art Department for this past year, and enjoyed every minute of being able to find a group of people who also enjoy creating digital art, specifically at this school. It’s a bit lonely since we don’t get to meet anyone in person regularly, and being able to find a group of people with the same interests as me is exciting, although we can only talk online most of the time.
This role is something I would like to continue this year, as I have more time to actually draw out the ideas that have been circling around in my brain for the past year or two, and give prompts that could aid in new ideas for everyone in this department. I’d like to see each person enjoy themselves and grow, though I can only help through a screen with words. (Although, I suppose that’s the good side to digital art, it’s easy to share digitally!)

Applying for: Head of Social Media Team
I have always had a passion for the different forms of art. Whether it's music, drawing or visual effects. Only recently have I started to showcase my work publicly not just as a school subject or as a hobby, but as something I see turning into a potential career. In the past few months, a lot has happened as I joined CGA in September and I was adjusting to the system. I have several artworks, but I have not yet had the time to polish the final pieces and post them. Since joining the art club, I have learned a lot from the club and the people within it. I’m currently working on multiple of the unfinished pieces and some media projects that have taken my free time. I do hope to share them with the club sometime this month😄 I feel I have adjusted, learned the ropes and I’m ready to tackle the new year with new responsibilities.
If I became the Head of the Social Media Department, I would make it more active. I have seen the art club's social media, and I feel like I could make it more alive! I have experience with YouTube, with editing and the app as a whole, and I have some experience with Instagram. I want to help promote the art club to more CGA students, the old and the new. Not only that, I believe that art should be shared with as many other people as possible and to give them a chance to see the wonderful artists that hide behind every corner. In this day and age, I believe social media is the perfect way to do that and that’s what I want to do!

Applying for: Vice President
I have recently started creating artwork more seriously as I've always done art for enjoyment, which was more than enough then. Still, after I joined the Art Club, I wanted to take more time out of my day to work on art, which motivated me to take art lessons outside of school to dive deeper into oil painting, a medium I have always been interested in. (I've been working on a large piece which I'll be done within Feb which I am planning on sharing on the forum 😊)
This is my main reason why I want to become Vice President, as I would love to help promote the club to more students within CGA. I believe there are many more hidden artists who might be interested in joining our club. I would also love to help this club grow and help make this club a safe place, a community for all members, if I become Vice President. I've also been a graphic designer for creating Instagram posts in the past, so I believe utilising social media platforms more to spread how great art is, is a great way to promote the club with the help of other talented individuals!

Applying for: President
I have always loved art, and would love to communicate with people who are also interested in the area. I also found coming up with new monthly themes very interesting when I was fortunately able to select one when Ayane was busy with her work.
If I became the President, I will encourage all members to participate more in the club activities, as I have noticed many have not submitted monthly submissions. I also want to get social media platforms more active to create a way for which students can promote their work and selves (since the only editor and the content creator of social media platforms is me🥲)!
