Applying for: Head of the Digital Art Department
I have a passion in various forms of art, but didn’t get into digital art until a few years ago, when I found out about one of my now favorite artists. I’ve been the Head of the Digital Art Department for this past year, and enjoyed every minute of being able to find a group of people who also enjoy creating digital art, specifically at this school. It’s a bit lonely since we don’t get to meet anyone in person regularly, and being able to find a group of people with the same interests as me is exciting, although we can only talk online most of the time.
This role is something I would like to continue this year, as I have more time to actually draw out the ideas that have been circling around in my brain for the past year or two, and give prompts that could aid in new ideas for everyone in this department. I’d like to see each person enjoy themselves and grow, though I can only help through a screen with words. (Although, I suppose that’s the good side to digital art, it’s easy to share digitally!)
