Here’s traditional art department's monthly submission.
USE OF COLORS:
Have you ever heard of color combinations before? Or a color wheel? In a color wheel, we have primary, secondary, and tertiary colors. Primary colors, as you all know include yellow, red, and blue. When we are creating an art piece, we often want to form the piece with similar colors like red, orange, and yellow, or blue and green. This month, I want you to experiment with color combinations that may not be next to each other when sorted in a wheel. These include black and yellow, gold and pink, turquoise & yellow, and more.
Learn about how color combinations work and why they stand out to us when they are used. Create a piece based on one of the color combinations on the internet, or a combination of your choice.
