Monthly Themes (T&D)

I chose the theme "Halloween." I didn't have much time due to my exams and assignments, but I drew some small doodles (inspired by Pinterest) and put them together to make a sort of collage.

Hi everyone! I've attached the October themes below and I am SO sorry these are late; I've been really busy with exams.

On that note, don't worry if you can't submit this month; I completely understand that exams take priority.

For this month, I drew an apple, a strawberry, and 2 blueberries. I used cross-hatching to create shadows and make the fruits look 3D. I liked how cross-hatching gives the drawing texture, and how adding darker and lighter shadows creates a lot of depth. This technique gave the fruits a slightly blocky but still dimensional look, which I loved.

I didn’t have any art paper because I’m currently on a trip to Asia, so I had to use normal lined paper instead. 🙏

Hi everyone! Hope IE3 went okay for our Aoraki campus. In the mean time, I've attached the September themes below, with some of my own artwork for the cross-hatching technique.
