Monthly Themes (T&D)

Hi everyone! Welcome back to CGA Art Club for 2026. I'm very excited to be working with everyone as the new leader :)

As we're starting a new year and the Aoraki campus is settling into a new school life, the February/March submissions will be combined into one and we'll return to monthly themes in April.

The three themes for February/March will be...

1. Artist study of Vincent van Gogh and his works

2. People, limbs, and faces (drawings of humans)

3. Animals, big and small

I drew a whale floating inside a dark blue night sky. I wanted it to feel calm and peaceful, like a quiet moment at night where everything is still and gentle. The soft blues and stars give it a dreamy feeling, as if the whale is safe and free in the night.
