Self-Introduction

Hi everyone, my name is Janna and I'm so glad to be part of the art club. I am currently in Year 12 and doing my AS levels; I live in Oxfordshire, UK and I love to take walks around the City Centre. It especially helps me for inspiration on whenever I would like to draw something relating to architecture!

I love sketching in pencil and am currently expanding into digital art and watercolour, and though I'm a very long way from it, I would love to start up woodwork or marble carving sometime with the needed resources! I'm so excited to be in the club, and I hope we will get along well!

Hi. My name is Cristina. I am 17 years old. I live near the beach in Mexico. I am so excited to be finally joining the art club. I had the opportunity to go to an art school this summer and discover all kinds of art making. I personally loved making sculptures, I liked everything that involved hand-on work. However I do enjoy other art mediums as well like watercolors, graphites, photography ect. I am excited to create work myself as well see other amazing art pieces.

I moved to Australia when I was like 3 (Chinese schooling/education was an evil industry lol) and have been a permanent resident for 10 years and so on. I started in an art lesson club in my after-school teacher's garage, and moved my way up to my greatest achievement which was the 2023 Start Art Prize in the Art Gallery of South Australia (idk if this gets me a badge or not). I usually do digital art because graphite smudges on my left hand.

My name is Miku, I am in grade 9 this September. I am from Japan but I am living in Spain and I love traditional art, using pencils and markers. I also play tennis, which is why I moved to Spain.
