I finally attempted to do my self-portrait for this month's theme, a theme assigned quite a while ago. I also wanted to try something new with colours for this theme, although I tend to lean towards only using pencils most times. I honestly cannot say that this portrait looks exactly like me (to be honest, the painting probably looks better than me), but it was very fun playing with the colours! The focus colour is a cool shade of light blue to give a soft yet cool mood. I used a medium called gouache but made it watercolour, so it was easier to blend. Overall, this was a very fun piece to draw and paint and please feel free to comment on anything as usual!
