Hello! This is my submission for the traditional September monthly submission with the theme of childhood memories. I decided to draw myself at Tokyo Disneyland/DisneySea. This is because my family is a fan of Disney, and we go to Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea annually, making the amusement park a place full of my childhood memories with my family.

I actually went to Tokyo Disneyland last weekend!!! (It was my sister's birthday) I remember myself riding the Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain and noticing how I got so used to these roller coasters compared to when I was little.
Anyways, I understand it's always so magical and dreamy these places are. From your art, I could see why you chose them as your childhood memories topic.
I see you chose pencils, which for me personally is one of the most hardest tool to handle. Some of things you may consider in you art as an improvement are...
- Use of shadows & lighting
You used 'pen and ink' technique when drawing a cloud (which is always so hard to draw realistically 😭). But you could try out some of more realistic drawing, using shadows and lighting. Some tutorials I found by Googling are

When I was little, and still now, use of darker softer pencils for shadows/ black points and use of rubber for lighting is my weakest point. I think they are very useful to make your art stand out and appealing, but it's not so easy to master it. I think the only way to do it is to just keep drawing and maybe watch some tutorials till you no longer need it. 😉
- Scaled, straight lines,
Scaled even lines when drawing landscapes or 3D objects are important to make your art look even better too. Maybe straightening the placement of the building at the left back, or trying to make the patterns on the rail equal. You can already create a perfect circle (for mickey mouse) so I think this would not be an impossible, yet this would upgrade your art in so much ways!
Keep creating more pieces, and would like to hear more about your childhood memories! What was your favourite ride/attractions, or your favourite popcorn flavour? 😂
Best,
Hanae
