Jul/Aug Submission - Artist Study
I attempted an art study on Judith Kunzle, a Swiss artist who lives in south pacific (Rarotonga). She is known for her sketches of traditional dancers and watercolour landscapes. Her style incorporates loose flowy lines to capture the movement of dance, as well as harsh textured shadows to add depth to her paintings. I tried to replicate this with some sketches of pacific sharks, copying this style to add dynamic motion to the drawings.

I love this so much! The flow of movement is definitely visible in the sharks; having now looked up Judith Kunzle's art I can certainly see the similarity. Are these any particular type of pacific sharks? :D
